MissionBangladesh Animal Care strives to educate the public on animal care to reduce and eliminate rabies and animal cruelty in the Bangladesh community. Our Vision Through a collaboration of other animal welfare groups, residents, schools, veterinarians, the media, as well as city, municipal and national governments in our communities we will reach our ultimate goals of: - A Culture of Animal Care
- Abolish all forms of Animal Cruelty
- Rabies Prevention and Awareness
- Humane Stray Management
Strategic Directions- We try to educate members of our community regarding the proper care of animals and to provide information aimed at reducing the feral, stray, homeless, and abandoned populations;
- Providing awareness and recognition of individual companion animal rescue groups and their community benefits;
- Advocating the adoption and rehabilitation of stray animals, and promoting responsible 'pet ownership';
- Supporting the development of companion animal mentoring programs for children, foster and adoptive interests;
- Advocating to improve upon and influence animal welfare legislation and its proactive and uniform enforcement;
- Emphasizing the importance of spaying and neutering, quality pet care and nutrition, and the lifetime commitment to companion animals;
- Developing an interactive national and international network of rabies awareness and education groups; and
- Linking the community with national and municipal resources to eliminate human death and suffering due to rabies.

We are a community based group working towards eradicating rabies and animal cruelty in Bangladesh. Our humble start began with the search for a veterinarian who specialized in cat care.
